A Brief History
Leonel Waste Management Corporation (Leonel) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1993 with the objective of providing effective, thorough, and continuous waste collection services to our clients.
In 1993, we made a successful bid to serve the City of Manila. In 1996, the City of Manila was named the Cleanest City by the Metro Manila Development Authority. As we tried our best to do a good job, the City renewed our contract and we went on to serve the City of Manila for a period of 21 years.
In 2007, we were given the opportunity to expand our operations to the City of Malabon. Satisfied with our service, the City of Malabon also continued to renew our contract until the present.
In 2010, the City of Taguig allowed us to handle its solid waste collection and we continue to serve the City to date. Right beside the City, the Municipality of Pateros also awarded its contract to us last February 2014.
In July 2013, the City of Paranaque enlisted our services to alleviate their solid waste problems. Until present, we are still servicing their City.
Today, with more than two decades of experience in this industry specializing in large scale operations, we are ready to extend and offer our services to any client regardless of size, confident that we can provide reliable and satisfactory service.
Our fleet of equipment composed of garbage compactors, dump trucks, roll-on roll-of trucks, trailer vans, sweeper trucks, water trucks, payloaders, backhoes, and bulldozers, as well as our workforce, are more than enough to adequately meet any new assignment. Leonel has been aggressively looking for opportunities to join the renewable energy sector - an industry that is highly accessible and relevant to the company - in line with our commitment to contribute to the environment.
Leonel's long-term objective is not only to contribute to beautification, but to try our very best in removing the issues of solid waste as a major concern, turning it to a solution which can address the environment's long-term problems by delving into renewable energy.
